Dear Franklin County Families, We want to make you aware of a concerning social media trend that encourages students to intentionally damage their school-issued Chromebooks by attempting to short out the charging ports. In some cases across the country this trend has led to injury and even caused electrical and fire damage to homes. Please take a moment to speak with your child about the serious dangers of participating in these types of online trends. Their safety—and the safety of our students, staff, and families—is our number one priority. Thank you for your continued support in helping us keep our school community safe. #OneTeamFCS

Our Student Voice Committee (SVC) met after school on Monday! The students are working on some really cool projects that we know will make a large impact on our district for years to come. We cannot wait to share their creations with you once they're all finished! The SVC is led by Director of Federal Programs, Cassandra Adams.
